The Story of Us

This business is the by-product of someone who’s been there—professionally, personally, and relationally. It was born from the reinvention of a former burnt-out executive, a chronically ill (and guilt-ridden) mom, and a hidden creative trying to keep up with the script of the American Dream.

When I started escaping into fiction writing as a way to decompress from high-stress workdays and overloaded family weekends, I had no idea where that spark would lead. But over time, storytelling became more than a creative outlet—it became a framework for healing, clarity, and transformation. And eventually, it became a calling to help others uncover the same.

Evergreen Experience is run by me and my incredible husband/business partner (in that order). We’re a small team delivering big results—keeping your costs low, impact high, and relationships personal. Because we stay small but mighty, we limit the number of concurrent organizational partnerships so we can preserve space for individual and small group clients.

If you’re here, reading this, we’d love to talk.

What We Believe—and Why It Matters

This all started with a question:
Why do so many self-help & leadership programs fall flat—even for people who genuinely want to grow?

The answer? Most programs skip the root skills that actually lead to sustainable change.
They focus on surface-level skills (
looking at you, Communication) instead of deeper transformation.

At Evergreen Experience, we do it differently.
We believe leadership isn't just a workplace title—it's about how you live, how you show up, and how you tell your story.
Whether you're leading a team, a family, or just your own next chapter,
lasting growth starts within.

That’s why everything we offer is grounded in four core skills:

  • Clarity – to know what matters and where you're going
  • Confidence – to trust your voice and act on it
  • Creativity – to explore new ways and adapt as you grow
  • Critical Thinking – to solve problems and lead with intention

Master these, and your story becomes sustainable. Scalable. Evergreen.

01 Consultant & Former Executive

Firm believer that fun is your #1 business strategy post-pandemic - I've got the program to prove it

Led teams from 5 to 500 and supported systems impacting over 45,000 employees

Managed multi-million dollar budgets—including major cost reductions without losing heart or people

Improved customer and employee experience scores by full quartiles

Developed leaders at all levels—from the frontlines to the boardroom

I don’t just teach leadership. I’ve lived it—under pressure, with impact, and without a script

02 Wife & Mom

Married 12 years to a true golden retriever of a husband (loyal, enthusiastic, sometimes ridiculous but impossible not to love)

Boy mom x2 in elite travel sports—so yes, my weekends are gone and my car smells like a locker room

Southern roots, Midwest living: raised on hospitality, running on "hey you guys"

Navigating chronic illness and mom guilt taught me boundaries, grace, and how to exist when everything feels out of control

I bring that same balance of empathy, humor, and resilience to every coaching session and strategy call

03 Creative Soul

Avid reader, writer, painter, poet—creativity is how I breathe and how I build

Former believer that creative pursuits were for your "spare time" as a hobby. I work every day to rewrite that false narrative.

My best ideas are saltwater-soaked: I head to the beach to dream, brainstorm, and create for clients

Trees are my favorite metaphor—deep roots, lasting growth, and the reason behind the name “Evergreen”

I believe a good story is more than content—it’s a compass for who you are and how you can experience life

What Story Do You Want To Tell?

This is self-leadership. This is traditional leadership. This is the story of how to live your ideal life experience.
